'Summer Print' clutches

Spring is finally coming to the door step. It's nice to spend a day in the sun designing the patterns for these clutches. These cute little clutches will certainly put a smile on your face and bring the sun to anyone else wherever you go.

Additional Shabby numbers

Weekend project

Designing and piecing the fabric together is the most exciting bit of the entire bag making process. My mind could be empty for days and all the sudden the thoughts flowing out non-stop and I have to quickly put the pieces together

Welcome to the family!

Tote bag with big bow

With a bit leftover pink Polka Dot fabric, came up this idea of creating a big bow to attach to the bag. Featured with fashionable faux leather straps

Vintage-inspired quilted shopper bag

It's just so addictive to make new things and come up with designs, and get inspired by so many styles and patterns and people out there. Thanks to ' Crafty Gemini' (http://craftygemini.blogspot.com/). I pretty much learnt my first sewing project and most of my other crafts ideas from her tutorials.

Shabby Chic small quilted makeup case

Since I learnt how to insert zips with bit of help on the internet yesterday, I attempted to make another make-up case with zipper and side strape........

It is made from cotton fabric and I quilted to give a little extra security to store all the cosmetics. It looks lovely in the handbag or bathroom, featured with union jacket ribbon with heart embroidery on it, isn't it cute and perfect for Valentine's Day?

Shabby Chic purse/clutch

It is addictive to keep using same range of  vintage-looking fabrics and add another little number to my Shabby Chic collection.

The purse is very easy and quick to make, all I used was 1 piece of fabric, same size piece lining and iron-on interfacing. By sewing the wrong side together, turned the right side out, fold it over and run stitches to secure. Featured with union jacket ribbon, pink bow and cute heart-shaped button

Daisy quilted washbag

Today's attempt with zipper insertion and quilting

To make it quilted, run diamond stitches through the main fabric and wadding, enjoy!

Shabby Chic Shopper Tote

My 1st post on blog, Yipeeee........

There’s something incredibly satisfying about creating ideas for craft projects, to use fabric to sew something new, something personal and something special for youself or someone you love!

This beautiful vintage-inspired tote bag is made for this special day-my 1st blog posting.

The project is relatively easy to make and is perfect for carrying books, folders, your favourite magazine or everyday shopping. The comptempory 'vintage' look is also in right now..
